The Pirates traded RHP Jameson Taillon to the Yankees in exchange for prospects Miguel Yajure, Roansy Conteras, Maikol Escotto and Canaan Smith. (Jason Mackey on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Taillon was rumored to be dealt to the Yankees on Saturday, but talks intensified and the deal became official Sunday. He hasn’t pitched since May 1st, 2019 while recovering from Tommy John surgery. The right-hander is expected to be fully healthy for the 2021 campaign. Taillon owns a career 3.67 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 419:117 K:BB ratio over 466 innings.
