Marcus Semien agrees to one-year, $18 million deal with Blue Jays

Free agent shortstop Marcus Semien has agreed to a one-year, $18 million deal with the Toronto Blue Jays according to Jeff Passan. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Semien broke out in 2019 when he smacked 33 home runs and slashed .285/.369/.522 with the A's. He stumbled back to earth in 2020 with a .679 OPS but rebounded in the postseason when he put up a .407 batting average in seven games. He's a great bounce back candidate that should get plenty of RBI opportunities in the loaded Blue Jays lineup.
