Sean Doolittle agrees to a one-year deal with Reds

Jon Morosi of MLB.com reports the Reds and LHP Sean Doolittle are in agreement on a one-year contract. (Jon Meoli on Twitter)

The deal is pending a physical. It was reported earlier today that a deal between the two sides was close, and now it looks official. Doolittle struggled through 11 appearances with the Nationals last season, and it's unclear if he'll be given a chance to close right away with the Reds. Amir Garrett and Lucas Sims were previously considered the favorites to close.
