Ryan Howard doubles twice in win over Nationals
by Kerry Kauffman | Sat, Apr 11th 11:10pm EDT
The Philadelphia Phillies improved to 3-2 with a 3-2 win over Washington Nationals on Saturday. Ryan Howard played a key role, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Howard has started the season slowly and is hitting .188 after the first five games.
Fantasy Impact:
The two doubles are a good sign for Howard and fantasy owners who have him in their lineup. Note that Howard left the game for a pinch runner and Chase Utley took over at first base. Howard could be removed often late in the game for a defensive replacement.
