Nomar Mazara signs with the Tigers

Jon Heyman of the MLB Network is reporting that OF Nomar Mazara has agreed to a one-year, $1.75 million deal. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mazara was non-tendered by the White Sox in early December, but ends up in Detroit on a one-year deal. He battled an illness and struggled in 2020, slashing .228/.295/.294 with one homer for the White Sox in 2020. The 25-year-old OF is one year removed from batting .268 with 19 long balls and still has a lot of raw power. Mazara will compete for a spot in the outfield between Robbie Grossman, JaCoby Jones and Victor Reyes.
