Fantasy Impact:
The severity of Wick’s injury is unknown at this time, but he will be delayed to start training camp. His 2020 campaign ended early after he sustained an oblique strain. Cubs manager David Ross recently named Craig Kimbrel as the team’s closer. If healthy, Wick could pick up some save opportunities after converting four saves last season. Wick owned a 3.12 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and a 20:6 K:BB across 33 1/3 innings in 2020.
