Fantasy Impact:

Curtiss is a 27-year-old right-hander who has bounced around the American League since being drafted by the Twins in 2014. After making 18 appearances over his first three MLB seasons, Curtiss saw his usage climb in 2020 as he made 17 outings (three starts) with the Rays. He was dominant over 25 innings, allowing just five earned runs on 21 hits for a 1.80 ERA. Heading back to Tampa Bay is Evan Edwards, a 23-year-old first baseman from North Carolina State. Drafted in 2019, Edwards has 73 games of Single-A experience. He owns a career .281/.357/.442 slash line with 50 RBI on 77 hits, including nine home runs. The fourth-round pick should open the year in Double-A and could reach the majors as soon as 2022.
