Nelson Cruz hits home run in second straight game to propel Mariners

Nelson Cruz played hero in the 8-7 win against the Athletics, blasting a home run to left field off Tyler Clippard in the 10th inning. Cruz also had one strikeout, and one walk in the game. This was also the second straight game that Cruz has hit a home run.
Fantasy Impact:
Cruz lead the MLB in home runs last year with 40, so this is a good sign that he is hitting them early on this season. The major knock on Cruz coming into the season was that his home run numbers would be down thanks to the unfriendly Safeco Field, which is not a hitters park. Cruz has still yet to hit a home run at Safeco this season, but his power has already been put on display early this year.
