Clay Buchholz allowed 10 runs (nine earned) on nine hits and two walks while striking out two in Boston's loss to the Yankees on Sunday night.
Fantasy Impact:
As dominant as Clay Buchholz was on Opening Day against the Phillies, he was awful Sunday against the Yankees giving up ten runs. Fantasy owners were hoping the Buchholz of 2013 was back and he was picked up in many leagues after his opening day performance. But Buchholz showed why it can be painful to own him with the performance on Sunday night. He is not a must own and can be dropped. Until he can prove consistency he is a streaming option at this point.
