Marco Gonzales named M's Opening Day starter

Marco Gonzales was named the Mariners' Opening Day starter for the third consecutive season by manager Scott Servais. (Lauren Smith on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
There's no surprise here as the lefty Gonzales is coming off a solid 2020 campaign. He registered a 3.10 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 64:7 K/BB ratio over 69 2/3 innings last year. "Marco’s established himself. He’s the leader of our pitching staff" Servais said. Gonzales is a solid SP3 in standard fantasy leagues this season.
