Sam Huff has a Grade 2 hamstring strain

Rangers GM Chris Young says catcher Sam Huff was diagnosed with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. (Evan Grant on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Huff is going to undergo treatment for two weeks before being re-evaluated with an MRI. The 23-year-old impressed in his 10-game sample in the big leagues last season, hitting .355 with three home runs. Huff will likely begin the season in Triple-A but hopefully this hamstring injury doesn't keep him sidelined for long.
