Nationals manager Dave Martinez says Max Scherzer (ankle) threw 40 pitches off the mound at 80-85 percent on Wednesday. (Mark Zuckerman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer's ankle didn't bother him at all. The three-time Cy Young award winner has been eased into spring training but there's no concern over this minor ankle injury. Scherzer will throw one more bullpen before facing live hitters next.
