Tyler Beede, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery, was placed on the 60-day injured list on Friday, per a statement released by the Giants. (San Francisco Giants on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Giants just claimed Jordan Humphreys off waivers so this procedural move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for him. Beede underwent TJ surgery nearly a year ago and is targeting a late May return to the team. The 27-year old compiled a 5-10 record with a 5.08 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and a 113:46 K/BB ratio over 117 innings (22 starts) for the Giants back in 2019.
