Cardinals manager Mike Shildt said Mikolas “won’t pitch in a simulated game Monday.” “For now it’s caution. We’ll see what it is later.” He missed the entire 2020 campaign recovering from surgery on the flexor tendon in his right forearm. Mikolas will have his simulated game pushed back and it is unclear when he will face live hitters during Spring Training.
