Kevin Kiermaier (hips) participates in batting practice and outfield drills

Just one week after reporting to spring training with hip soreness, Kevin Kiermaier's status has improved. The Rays outfielder reportedly took batting practice on Monday and also participated in cutoff and relay drills. He should progress to a live batting practice session on Tuesday. Fantasy Impact:
All signs are positive as Kiermaier works his way back to full health. The Rays won't rush him back, but the fact that he is making progress and does not appear to have any serious pain is promising.
