Trevor Bauer was solid over his two innings of work on Monday as he surrendered just one hit while striking out two in his Cactus League debut with the Dodgers.
Bauer was making both his Cactus League and Dodgers debut on Monday. The first batter he faced, Garrett Hampson, sliced a single off of him but Bauer retired the next six batters he faced with ease. The reigning NL Cy Young winner inked a three-year, $102 million deal with the Dodgers this offseason. A repeat of his ridiculous 2020 season (1.73 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 100:17 K/BB over 73 innings) is unlikely but he's a good bet to put up SP1 numbers this year in Los Angeles.
