Mark Trumbo hits a pair of singles, scores a run in win over Padres

by Evan Triantafilidis | Tue, Apr 14th 1:18am EDT

Mark Trumbo went 2-for-4 with two singles and scored on an error in the first inning against San Diego.

Fantasy Impact:

Trumbo was subbed out of the game in a defensive move by manager Chip Hale in the bottom of the seventh inning for A.J. Pollock, but was able to contribute at the plate before that. Trumbo has hit safely in every game but one this season, but has yet to go yard this year. He’s the outfielder you want in Arizona, but may make his fantasy owners wait until the first Trum-bomb of 2015.
