Soto was withheld from Monday’s contest for precautionary reasons after fouling off a ball off his foot on Sunday. Nationals manager Davey Martinez said “He’s fine, he’s good.” The Nationals star OF is expected to make his spring debut on Wednesday and should see one-to-two plate appearances. Soto is currently fourth among all hitters in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
