Drew Smyly pitched two innings Wednesday against the Orioles allowing one hit and striking out three.
Fantasy Impact:
Smyly, along with Charlie Morton, were two veterans added to an otherwise young rotation for 2021. He should have plenty of run support if everybody stays healthy and thus a solid candidate for wins. And he should have enough left in the tank for a good number of quality starts, providing coach Brian Snitker lets him go six innings more times than not.
