Cleveland infielder Jose Ramirez has violated coronavirus health and safety protocols and is being kept away from the team for at least a few days, according to reports from Buster Olney and others. (Buster Olney on Twitter)

A separate report from Jordan Bastian indicates that Cubs pitcher Pedro Strop and Cleveland's Franmil Reyes are also being held out of camp for violating health and safety protocols, and that Strope was shown and tagged in a social media post by Reyes that has since been deleted. Ramirez is expected to be away from the team for at least a few days, but this is an organization that took these violations seriously in 2020 and kept players away for longer.
