Fantasy Impact:
Yates underwent surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow in the fall. He signed a one-year, $8.25 million deal (including incentives) with the Blue Jays during the offseason. Yates threw bullpen sessions and is slated to make his debut this week. The 33-year-old is expected to be the Blue Jays closer and currently 56th among all pitchers in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
