It's been just five days since Jarred Kelenic was diagnosed with a strained adductor muscle in his knee, but he's already making progress. Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto says the outfield prospect is recovering "quickly" and appears to be on a fast track to returning. (Shannon Drayer on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is very positive news for Kelenic, whose injury was expected to require several weeks of recovery time. Instead, he is making tremendous progress and could inch towards a return to the lineup soon, though Seattle surely doesn't want to rush him. Kelenic ranks 76th among outfielders in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
