Sims (elbow) will continue to ramp up his activity with the hopes of being ready by Opening Day. The Reds will continue to monitor the situation and see how he feels after today’s intrasquad game. Sims said recently that he’s “very confident” he’ll be ready to go for the regular season. Sims is expected to serve as a high-leverage reliever for the Reds in 2021.
