Chris Bassitt named Opening Day starter for the Athletics

Fantasy Impact:
Bassitt gets the Opening Day nod after an impressive 2020 campaign. Bassitt pitched 63 innings in the shortened season, and posted a 2.29 ERA. Bassitt has solid stuff, but doesn't typically miss a ton of bats. He is unlikely to be a big contributor to your strikeout total, but he should give you a good chunk of solid innings at the back end of your rotation. He's certainly not a big name pitcher, so keep your eye on him in your draft, as you may be able to get him for good value.
