Khris Davis (quad) to start the season on the IL

Rangers' DH Khris Davis will start the season on the IL due to a Grade 2 quad strain suffered during Spring Training. (John Blake on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 33-year-old suffered the injury while trying to leg out a bunt attempt in late March, and it looks as though he will be out until late April or early May. Less than 1% of fantasy managers in ESPN and Yahoo leagues are drafting Davis, so this news is unlikely to present any huge fantasy impact. However, once Davis is healthy, if he can find the power that we are accustomed to seeing, he might be worth a late waiver pickup.
