Cleveland right-hander Shane Bieber allowed three runs over six innings in a 3-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Opening Day. Bieber struck out 12, walked three, and allowed five hits in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Bieber served up a two-run homer to Miguel Cabrera in the first inning but calmed down after that. With a depleted offense behind him, Bieber is going to have more games like this one, which may make run support hard to come by. He will be back on the mound against the Royals next week.
