Eloy Jimenez, who recently underwent surgery for a torn left pectoral tendon, was placed on the 60-day injures list, retroactive to March 29th. (Chicago White Sox on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jimenez is expected to be out for the vast majority of the regular season, which is a tough blow for both the White Sox and fantasy teams alike. He's a sneaky stash in deeper leagues that have the roster space but he can be dropped in standard re-draft leagues at this point.
