Trevor Rosenthal (shoulder fatigue) without a timetable for return

The Oakland Athletics placed closer Trevor Rosenthal on the 10-day injured list with shoulder fatigue on Thursday afternoon, and manager Bob Melvin says the closer was having trouble bouncing back after outings and currently does not have a timetable for a return. (Shayna Rubin)

With Rosenthal out for what sounds like at least a couple of weeks, left-hander Jake Diekman is expected to see the majority of the save opportunities. Monitor Rosenthal's status for updates in the coming days.
