Minnesota Twins right-hander Kenta Maeda turned in a solid effort in a 6-5 loss to the Brewers on Opening Day. Maeda allowed two runs (one earned) over 4 1/3 innings of work while striking out five and walking two. He did not factor into the decision.
Maeda threw 88 pitches in the game, hence the early hook. Next, the veteran hurler is lined up to take on the Tigers in an excellent matchup.
