Alex Colome blows save in opener

by Matthew Terelle | Twins Correspondent | Thu, Apr 1st 9:19pm EDT

Minnesota Twins closer Alex Colome was charged with a blown save in a 6-5 loss to the Brewers on Opening Day. Colome allowed three unearned runs on two hits and an error in the ninth inning, his lone inning of work.

Fantasy Impact:

Colome had success closing games for the White Sox over the past few seasons but he did not make a good first impression with his new team. The Twins haven't been shy about playing the matchups with their relievers in save situations but Colome should continue to see the majority of the save chances, assuming his puts Thursday's outing behind him.
