Jake Fraley draws walk-off walk for Seattle on Opening Day

by Ari Koslow | Reds Correspondent | Fri, Apr 2nd 2:21am EDT

Jake Fraley went 0-for-1 with three walks in the Mariners Opening Day win Thursday, with one of those walks winning it for the Mariners in the 10th inning.

Fantasy Impact:

Fraley stepped to the plate in the bottom of the 10th inning with the bases loaded and no outs. San Francisco Giants reliever Jose Alvarez struggled with his control mightily, walking Taylor Trammell and Dylan Moore to load the bases (with the runner on second base to start off the inning) before he walked Fraley on five pitches to walk it off for Seattle. Fraley is likely competing with Jose Marmolejos for a roster spot while Kyle Lewis (knee) is on the injured list.
