Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara struck out seven over six scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. He walked two and allowed two hits.
Fantasy Impact:
Alcantara pitched to a 3.00 ERA with 39 strikeouts over 42 innings last season, and he started off 2021 strong with Thursday's effort. Unfortunately, he was locked in a pitchers' duel with Tampa starter Tyler Glasnow, who also tossed six scoreless innings. Alcantara's next start is currently scheduled to come against the St. Louis Cardinals at home.
