Fantasy Impact:
This isn't the way fantasy managers saw Sanchez beginning his season. First he was optioned to the alternate training site before Opening Day, and now he's dealing with this shoulder injury. The rookie right-hander is now going to be on a slow progression back to the big leagues without a timetable to return. Fantasy managers are encouraged to hold onto him if at all possible.
