Charlie Blackmon homers to break up no-no

by Andersen Pickard | Rockies Correspondent | Sat, Apr 3rd 8:15am EDT

Charlie Blackmon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run on Friday night. While the Rockies eventually lost to the Dodgers, Blackmon's seventh-inning blast broke up Trevor Bauer's no-hitter.

Fantasy Impact:

The home run was Blackmon's first hit of the regular season after he went 0-for-3 on Opening Day. If he starts hitting at a solid clip, the outfielder could be the core of the lineup after Nolan Arenado was traded away. Blackmon is listed ninth in the latest expert consensus rest-of-season rankings, so there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about his outlook.
