Royals 1B/3B Hunter Dozier’s thumb is still swollen Saturday, but manager Mike Matheny doesn’t think the issue too serious. (Lynn Worthy on Twitter )

Dozier (thumb) isn’t expected to miss much time and is considered day-to-day. “Hunter Dozier's hand is still swollen, but they don't think the issue is too serious or he'll miss much time,” per Matheny. No roster move is imminent for the Royals at the moment. Hanser Alberto will continue to handle third base duties while Dozier is sidelined.
