Will Smith blasts first HR of the season against Colorado
by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, Apr 5th 11:58am EDT
Will Smith went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and a strikeout in the Dodgers 4-2 series-clinching win over the Rockies on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith took Colorado reliever Robert Stephenson deep in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dodgers up 4-0. It was Smith's first homer of the year and it was a mammoth shot (438 feet). Smith and Austin Barnes have had a 50/50 time split through four games to begin the season and it's likely to continue that way for the foreseeable future. Smith is an absolute must-start whenever he is in the lineup as he can still put up big numbers batting in the middle of the Dodgers star-studded lineup.
