Whit Merrifield went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and one walk in Monday’s 3-0 win over the Indians.
Fantasy Impact:
Merrifield took Logan Allen deep in the second inning for his major-league leading third home run of the season. He accounted for the Royals entire offense by driving in all three of the team’s runs. Merrifield has been on an absolute tear to start the season, hitting .500 (8-for-16) with nine RBI across 16 at-bats.
