Jose Alvarado earns save with Hector Neris unavailable Monday

Phillies reliever Jose Alvarado allowed one earned run on three hits while striking out two over an inning of work to convert the save in Monday's win over the New York Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Neris is still the closer in Philadelphia, but it is at least noteworthy that Alvarado got the call for the ninth inning on Monday over Archie Bradley. He is unlikely to see many save opportunities unless Neris is injured or falters, but Alvarado has value in leagues that reward for holds, especially with his ability to generate strikeouts.
