Clayton Kershaw fans eight over seven innings in classic performance

Clayton Kershaw picked up the win on Tuesday when he allowed just one run on four hits with eight strikeouts and no walks over seven innings in the Dodgers 5-1 win over the A's.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a vintage Kershaw performance and he looked to be in control from the start, pretty much. His only real mistake was surrendering an RBI double to Ramon Laureano in the first inning but the A's would do nothing else for the rest of the game. This was a great bounce back game from the veteran southpaw, who gave up five earned runs in an Opening Day loss to the Rockies. The Dodgers have not lost since then as their record sits at 5-1. They'll look to sweep the three-game series with Oakland on Wednesday and Kershaw will look to build on this performance when he faces the Rockies at home in his next turn.
