Billy Hamilton exits with left hamstring tightness

by Andersen Pickard | Wed, Apr 7th 9:06pm EDT

White Sox outfielder Billy Hamilton exited Wednesday's game with left hamstring tightness. The 30-year-old speedster appeared to suffer the injury while stealing third base. He was replaced in the lineup by prospect Andrew Vaughn. (Ryan Divish on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Little is known about Hamilton's injury, but we'll likely learn more postgame. For now, it's at least worth monitoring the veteran's status. Hamilton has a career .241/.296/.325 slash line with just 22 home runs. He makes up for his poor metrics at the plate with terrific speed and an ability to steal bases. He has swiped 306 bags in his career, marking an MLB-best during that time (2013-2021).
