Trevor Story's early-season woes continue as he now drops below the Mendoza line. The shortstop went hitless through five at-bats on Wednesday, striking out twice along the way. He also left four players on base, though it didn't matter in the end as the Rockies won, 8-0.
Fantasy Impact:
It's a concerning start for the talented infielder, but there is plenty of optimism that he can turn things around as the season progresses. Fantasy owners certainly hope so; Story is the No. 2 shortstop in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
