Aaron Nola lasts just four innings due to pitch count Wednesday

by Mike Maher | Phillies Correspondent | Thu, Apr 8th 9:59am EDT

Phillies starter Aaron Nola allowed one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision against the New York Mets on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Nola threw 92 pitches over four innings and was pulled before the fifth, which prevented him from qualifying for a win in a game the Phillies went on to win 8-2. He clearly didn't have his best stuff on Wednesday but still managed to limit the damage. He will look to bounce back in his next start which is currently scheduled to come against this same Mets team in New York.
