A.J. Puk placed on 10-day IL with strained left bicep

The Athletics have placed left-handed reliever A.J. Puk on the 10-day injured list with a strained left bicep. The move is retroactive to April 7th. (Jessica Kleinschmidt on Twitter)

Puk, 25, opened the year on a positive note by allowing one hit and zero runs over 3.1 innings on Monday. He owns a career 2.45 ERA and 1.30 WHIP over 11 games (14.2 innings). Puk spent part of 2019 in the majors but missed all of 2020 due to shoulder surgery.
