Framber Valdez (finger) resumes throwing

Astros pitcher Framber Valdez has started throwing again, according to Houston general manager James Click. (Chandler Rome on Twitter)

It is only on flat ground for now, but it still shows that Valdez is progressing in the right direction nonetheless. Valdez was placed on the 10-day injured list at the beginning of the season with a left ring finger injury. There is still no clear timetable for his return.
