Trevor Rosenthal officially undergoes surgery

Athletics reliever Trevor Rosenthal officially underwent surgery today. The operation "involved the removal of his first rib, a pec minor release, and scalene release," according to a release from the Athletics. (Alex Coffey on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Rosenthal, who officially landed on the 60-day IL today, underwent the surgery in Dallas under the expertise of Dr. Gregory Pearl. The right-hander will recover for roughly eight weeks before returning to Texas for a follow-up visit. Rosenthal agreed to a one-year, $11 million deal following an incredible bounce-back year in 2020.
