Cardinals set-up man Giovanny Gallegos pitched a scoreless eighth inning with two strikeouts on Thursday, picking up his second win of the season in the process.
Fantasy Impact:
The 29-year-old right-hander has been absolutely dominant thus far this season, pitching five scoreless innings with nine strikeouts while allowing only one baserunner. Despite the fact that he won't be seeing many (if any) save chances, he remains an elite relief pitcher option for his ratios and strikeouts, especially in leagues that utilize holds (and even wins apparently).
