Trent Grisham goes 2-4 in first game back from injury

Trent Grisham went 2-4 with a double and a strikeout in his first game back from a hamstring injury. Grisham started the year on the 10-day IL, and Friday's game in Arlington was his first game of the 2021 season.

Fantasy Impact:

It was a nice start for Grisham, who hasn't seen real game action since mid-March. Grisham has been participating in sim games, but this was the first time he has played in a real game in nearly a month. Grisham smoked a double on Friday that came off his bat at 107 MPH. It's only 4 at-bats, but the Padres have to be happy about Grisham hitting the ball hard in his first game back. With Fernando Tatis Jr. out for likely a week or more, San Diego will hope Grisham can replace some of Tatis's production in the lineup, while also steadying the ship defensively in CF. As long as Grisham continues being featured in the lineup, he's worth starting in fantasy lineups throughout the weekend. The Rangers' rotation has struggled mightily to start the year, so there may not be a better rotation in baseball for Grisham to ease his way back in against.
