Carlos Martinez gave up eight hits and three earned runs across five innings in a loss to Milwaukee on Saturday. He did not walk a batter but also recorded only one strikeout
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez went five innings in his first start of the year as well, yielding four runs in that outing. He falls to 0-2 on the season with an unsightly 6.30 ERA and 1.40 WHIP and just five strikeouts through 10 innings pitched. He'll face the Phillies next time out and is not a recommended option for that matchup.
