Rafael Montero allowed one run in the eighth inning Saturday, walking two hitters with one strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
It was an interesting situation as the Mariners put their closer in the game with a 3-2 lead in the eighth inning. After Dylan Moore made a nice play to open up the inning, Montero went on to walk Nelson Cruz on four pitches before hitting Byron Buxton. He got Mitch Garver to ground out for the second out of the inning, but a wild pitch allowed Jake Cave (who pinch-ran for Cruz) to score and tie the game.
