Joc Pederson went 1-for-4 Saturday versus Pittsburgh. His blooper down the left foul line fell in for an RBI single. However, that hit still leaves him with a .120 batting average so far.
Fantasy Impact:
Pederson is a powerful hitter who joined the Cubs due to the opportunity for more playing time. He has had past struggles against left-handed pitching but the Cubs said they would give him the chance to show he can do it.
